**張果老 Zhang Guolao ** 竹根雕 Bamboo root Carving 中國工藝美術大師梁豐助1989年作品 現(xiàn)收藏于中國衡陽南岳梁豐助工藝美術館 高 40.5公分 寬15.5公分 Hight 40.5CM Width 15.5CM Zhang Guo, better known as Zhang Guolao, is a Chinese mythological figure and one of the Eight Immortals in the Taoist pantheon. Among the Eight Immortals, Zhang Guolao, Zhongli Quan and Lü Yan were real historical figures. His existence is said to have begun around the middle or end of the 7th century, and ended approximately in the middle of the 8th. The epithet "Lao" added at the end of his name means "old".[1]
