PARTS AND EQUIPMENT NEEDEDThe necessary parts and equipment needed for the conveion of road tanke toBOTTOM LOADING & VAPOUR RECOVERY are:1. Foot valves2. Fuel couplings3. Vapor coupling4. DESCRIPTION AND POSITIONING OF THE EQUIPMENTThe general layouts of the italled equipment are identified by GASCO dimeio on the drawing derive from API standards. Actually for some of those dimeio, as described below, some deviatio of the above standards are necessary. More specifically the specificatio of the above equipment are:1. Pneumatic 4-inch foot valvesThe foot valves preferable to be pneumatic rather than mechanical, non-pressure balanced, 4 inches, according to API standards. With the itallation of the foot valves all the components and pipe lines comprising the system between the couplings and the foot valves should be designed for an operating pressure of 500 kPa (75 psi) and will not allow any leak for pressure 1.5 times higher of the operating pressure. Any component that does not meet these requirements should not be used in a bottom loading road foot valves can be normal, low profile or extra low profile according to the needs of the conveion but should always meet the API standards.2.
